Welcome to Rhodian Roots. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any booking made through it. By accessing our website or booking an experience, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Who We Are

Rhodian Roots offers authentic experiences that connect travelers to the heart and roots of Rhodes, Greece. Our signature experience is the Traditional Cooking Class, designed and led exclusively by Rhodian Roots.

For all other listed experiences (such as hikes, cultural events, or village tours), Rhodian Roots acts solely as a booking platform and reseller. These are operated by independent third-party providers.

2. Bookings & Payments

All bookings must be made through our website or official communication channels.
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
All prices are in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.

For Third-Party Experiences:

By booking a third-party experience through our platform, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the third-party provider. Rhodian Roots facilitates your booking but does not assume responsibility for the delivery, safety, or quality of third-party services.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

For Rhodian Roots’ Traditional Cooking Class:

More than 7 days in advance: Full refund.
3–7 days in advance: 50% refund.
Less than 48 hours: No refund.

For Third-Party Experiences:

Each third-party provider has their own cancellation policy. Rhodian Roots will communicate this during the booking process. We will do our best to assist you, but the final decision lies with the provider.

If Rhodian Roots or the provider must cancel due to weather, force majeure, or low attendance, we will offer you a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Participant Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for assessing their ability to safely engage in an activity.
Any allergies, dietary restrictions, or special needs must be communicated at booking.
You agree to follow all instructions given by hosts, whether Rhodian Roots or a third party.

5. Liability & Insurance

For the Traditional Cooking Class:

While we prioritize safety and hospitality, participation is at your own risk. Rhodian Roots is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence.

For Third-Party Experiences:

Rhodian Roots accepts no liability for injuries, delays, cancellations, or incidents that occur during a third-party experience. We strongly recommend personal travel insurance that covers these situations.

6. Photography & Media

During experiences, photos or videos may be taken by Rhodian Roots or third-party providers. By participating, you agree to their use for promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing before the activity.

7. Website Use

All content on this site (text, photos, design, etc.) is the property of Rhodian Roots and may not be reproduced without permission.

We strive to ensure accuracy but cannot guarantee that all third-party information (schedules, descriptions, availability) is always up to date.

8. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. Please read our Privacy Policy to learn how we collect and use your personal data.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any legal disputes shall be handled in the courts of Rhodes.
